DENTAL CROWNS

Restore strength, function, and aesthetics to your smile.

dental crown is a custom-made cap placed over a damaged, weak, or severely decayed tooth to restore its original shape, size, strength, and appearance.

Made from durable materials like high-grade zirconia or porcelain, crowns protect vulnerable teeth after a root canal, cover dental implants, or repair broken teeth, blending seamlessly with your natural smile.

What does it involve?

If you need to protect or replace a damaged tooth, any necessary prior treatment must first be ruled out or completed.

The tooth receiving the crown is filed down on the top and sides to make room for the crown. The amount of tooth structure removed depends on the type of crown required. All-metal dental crowns are thinner and do not require as much tooth structure to be removed as all-porcelain or porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns. A temporary crown is usually placed first, and at the following visit, a permanent custom-made crown is fitted.
